I wasn't much of a writer of all things "blogger-material". It somehow just came to me that I needed an outlet to let my inner thoughts and ideas out of my system. That's the purpose of having one, yeah? Let me enlighten you all of how everything came about to this day. In retrospect, it was one of those late night talks with Lexi about blogging and after doubting about whether I should start a blog; well here I am. Along the way, of revamping, adding a few widgets here and there; and who would've thought that I would be writing this after a year. A year filled of drastic changes, countless mistakes and unforgettable memories. In all honesty, "2014 me" was completely butchered and lost. I didn't know where I was at the time and the scary thing is I didn't know who I was. It is ridiculous to hear that, "Oh, she didn't know who she was, is she bloody mental or something?" That could be a tad overreacting but its true. I wouldn't want to go any further detail, but I am fine. Don't worry :) Now that 2015 is almost to a close, this year I've had enough backbone from what I lost in the previous year. I don't know if you are on the same page as me, but you'll get it soon—eventually. And so, I hope we get to voyage into another year and the next years to come.
I'd like to express my gratitude through this post; to my family, to my friends and most especially to my readers. Thank you for your feedback, insights and endless support.

Hello everyone! As my first semester comes to a close, I've battled my way out into maintaining a good skin regimen. Wandering around the streets of Manila; full of smoke in the air filled with dirt and grime calls for heavy duty skin care products (or at least high maintenance as per se).

Last August, most specifically the day before college even began; my grandmother and I went to The Body Shop and purchased loads of Tea Tree products. It occurred to me that I had to switch up my skin routine. As we went inside the store, we noticed that there was a sale which was "Buy one, get one for free" as I recall. We purchased one facial wash, two lotions (Fade by Night and Skin Clearing) , and one tea tree oil. It could've been a package if we got the toner but it was over our budget. Nonetheless, I instantly fell in love with these products and surely can't wait to purchase more when I ran out.

Here I give you the lowdown on how I treat my skin:

1. Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial wash - I apply this on my face by getting a small amount. (little is more)
2. Pond's White Beauty Pore Conditioning Toner - If ever I run out of this toner I usually use my Eskinol toner which is always in my bathroom :)
3. Moisturizer - Any moisturizer would do. ( I prefer Celeteque ;) )
4. Tea Tree oil - I use this when I have a pimple or upcoming pimples because I like to keep my face pimple-free :) (who doesn't right haha)
 5. Tea Tree Fade by Night Lotion - Even though it's not shown here (to be honest my mom misplaced it somewhere, way to go mom; I love you still haha); I use this of course when it is nighttime on blemishes.
6. Tea Tree Skin Clearing Lotion- When I'm lucky and free from pimples I apply this everyday after I wash my face. :)

(excuse the casing for my Sunnies :) )

Beauty wise, I became somewhat obsessed with applying make-up. College was the only time where I get to apply make-up in school and actually make use of my lipsticks. Haha. On another note, I don't go heavy with my make-up just the basics: Foundation/Concealer, Powder, Brows, Mascara, and Lippie :) (oh and sometimes eyeliner haha)

Make-up Routine:

1. Moisturizer
2. Covergirl + Olay CC Cream - I apply this using my fingers and simply spread around starting from my dark circles :)
3. Maybelline Dream Satin Foundation B5 in SPF 24 - (not shown here) I apply this when I am out and about in Manila; I need something to cover up my skin in refraining the sun's UV rays :)
4. Maybelline Pure Concealer Mineral 02 - I apply this from my dark circles to the spots I have in my face to cover the redness.
5.  Physicians Formula Super BB Powder - I finish it off with this powder and I use my powder brush to apply it from my cheeks working my way up all over my face :)
6. Maybelline Fashion Brow Pencil
7. Maybelline Hypercurl Mascara - I curl my eyelashes then apply my favorite mascara :)
8. Maybelline Liquid Eyeliner ** I opt for eyeliner when I'm in the mood to apply. Haha
9. L'Oreal La Palette Nude 1 - I go for the lighter and metallic shades for a " day look" :)
10. BYS in "Salsa" shade - I pretty much use this shade and my other shades of lipstick ranging from pink nudes to darker berry shades.
11. Beauty Blender - Thanks to Sam (my blockmate & friend) she gave me this beauty blender which I have been eyeing for so long and I have used this when applying my foundation and concealer :)

History has its roots and its branches that leads towards its events. I wasn't keen on learning history most especially Philippine history. Don't get me wrong but growing up it taught me alot. At a young age, I had been studying history my entire life but it never occurred to me that I would admire the beauty of it. When you're an art student, you learn to love not only its art but historical background. I will make this brief and just let the photos do the talking. Enjoy!

 Shoutout to ya'll!! :)

After that 1-month hiatus of not posting, it came to my senses that I needed to get my keyboard and type away what had been going on as a colleague. Nearly mid-October and I already had been bombarded with such numerous tasks, performances, and let's not forget, PLATES. If you are an art student, most especially a multimedia arts student, it makes your perspective broaden in a sense that you see a whole new different world– but most of all more plates

We went to this museum that is located in our building, which were full of various artists' works. It kept it minimal and crafted. It is called The Vexed Contemporary. I haven't evoked whether I had or had not been to an art museum. You've probably are wondering as to why this MMA student hasn't been to an art museum. I suppose an art gallery counts? Taking time and looking at the artworks, it made me realized how much these people are passionate and are willing to showcase their art in having the time and aspiration in what truly makes an artist. Without further ado, here are the art pieces that made me feel in awe. I wasn't able to take as much photos but here is what I had collated. Enjoy!

P.S.

I usually wear something that isn't in the norm but you'll see an outfit post coming your way!!

P.P.S

I apologize from the lack of content and formality that I do need to work on my writing that it is sub par.

Limitations. A teacher once asked the class about what are our limitations. At first I was taken aback what are my limitations. I came to conclusion that it was a series of unlimited possible reasons. One of which is that I tend to over-complicate on the littlest of things. Some may call it stress, but in most days I constantly worry. College could be another reason. There are no more typical school routines, no more "I don't want to study because I'll wing the test anyway" sayings,  and most of all recess.  In addition, let's not forget uniforms. I, on the other hand, had to discard my own wardrobe and go back to basics. We had the freedom of wearing what we want except RIPPED JEANS. Knowing myself, I own quite a handful of ripped jeans. I wasn't fond of skinny jeans anymore ― if its Topshop (because they have good quality jeans, am I right ladies?) So I decided to channel my grunge side and minimize the use of wearing ripped jeans into this look. I am still baffled by this. Whatever happened to expressing ourselves freely? I'd like to express myself wearing ripped jeans. Haha. Anyway! Speaking of typical school routines, it became inclusive in terms of my transportation going home every day (except Friday since I only have 1 period for the day). Despite the hustle and bustle of my hectic commute going home, it gave me the ability to fend for myself. Being seated inside a classroom filled with people I barely even know and next thing I know I showed my true cheerful, and carefree self. The dejection I had in high school completely faded and it was a time for a clean slate. Quite frankly, I don't want to be the person who has changed just for the sake of changing to adjust to society. The power of change is done by self. Surely, I have some flaws that I still carry from high school but it somehow made me think that maybe these flaws could be aspects of what I am as a person. I may have digressed from what I was saying previously but I have a quote that I got from the movie "Little Black Book" and it goes something like this: ..."A bit bruised, a bit humbled, but hopefully a bit smarter".

Does anyone here over-complicate or even constantly worry like I do? Anyone?

A way to spend end of July is to do a quick shoot on my next outfit capsule. Trends come and go. I am not in favor of relying too much on what's in or what's not. Don't get me wrong, we do have a tendency to be on trend, but the world refashions, restyles, and redesigns on what's going to be the next big thing. I decided to use what I purchased that is way out of my budget and turn it into a look. (those overalls though)
We are all different and unique with our styles. Since I am still into the summer/ boho collection, it hasn't stopped from there. Eventually, my outfits will evolve and would add up to multiple pieces knowing that its almost the "ber" months.

I also want to thank you guys, my readers, who have been reading my blog these past few months and giving me advice/tips. This is what I've always wanted and I am in most content. It was actually difficult to choose the photos to post. I will be posting the rest in my page. (Yes! guys I have a page now)

ENJOY!
